The location of this hotel was great, with plenty of fun and food options nearby. The breakfast provided was nice and the staff were polite and helpful. I also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the grand country residence set in a lovely garden.
the shared kitchen was not kept as clean as it should have been by some of the guests. there were some issues with the room, such as damaged plaster work and a double bed with a mattress that had parts where you could feel the bottom frame.

Exceptional value for money. The location was wonderful, surrounded by beautiful surroundings and gardens. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Breakfast was great, delicious and reasonably priced. The room was clean and accommodating, with a comfortable bed and a socket and USB next to each bed, making it convenient for charging devices.
The hostel was full of a large Christian group that dominated the communal areas, making it feel like they were intruding on other guests' holidays. It was difficult to find a space in the bar area, and the singing from the group filled the garden and front of the hall.
